When I Sit by My Window and Look Outside

Representational Picture

When I sit by my window and look outside

I see the forest which is so wide

With lots of trees and their shady side

Where the birds and animals play and try to have fun

Even when being chased by the hunter with his gun

Where the rivers and lakes flow with pace,

Smashing the stones which they face

Where the rabbits and squirrels play in holes,

Chasing the rats and moles.

It is the forest which is so vast

and I pray it remains as long as the world lasts.

Tree cutters and hunters should be left aside

so the forest can remain vast and wide.
