While speaking to media HRD Minister, Prakash Javedekar announced a newly formed National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the next UGC NET exam in December 2018.
Besides UGC NET, NTA will also conduct NEET and JEE (Mains) exam twice in a year and also Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) and Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT).
Key changes:
This time, UGC NET exam would be computer-based.
Candidates can choose Date and Time from 02-12-2018 to 16-12-2018 as per their convenience
NTA will establish a network of test practice centers for the students of rural areas so that everyone will have an opportunity to practice before exam.
Exam will be conduct twice in a year.
Online Submission of Application form will remain available from 01-09-2018 to 30-09-2108.
Examination will be conducted from 02-12-2018 to 16-12-2018 (two shifts per day on Saturday and Sunday).
Results will be declared in the last week of January 2019.
