In an ongoing 47th edition of Silicon Valley Classic tennis tournament, Johanna Konta beat American Sofia Kenin to reach the quarter-finals.
Earlier Johanna Konta defeated Serena Williams-the 23rd time Grand Slam champion by 6-1 6-4.
In an interview Konta, 27, who will face Elise Mertens of Belgium in next match said, “I approached the match as a separate challenge, every tournament that I go into; I want to be there until the very end.”
