Man, After Whom Super Mario Was Named, dies aged 84

Do you remember Super Mario? Super Mario is a video game that became a sensation among children in the late 1990’s. Have you ever tried to know why the game is named Super Mario?

It was Mario Segale, a successful Italian-American property developer from the US state of Washington after whom video game Super Mario was named.

On 2nd November Segale died at the age of 84, leaving behind his wife Donna, four children and nine grandchildren.

In the 1980s, When Segale leased a warehouse to Nintendo of America, they decided to name the star of their new video game after him.

Super Mario was originally called Jumpman until Nintendo wanted to give the character a proper name.

Super Mario also called Super Mario Bros. is one of the successful video games created by Nintendo featuring their mascot, Mario.

Like other parts of the world, this exciting video game is also one of the memorable game that young generation of Kashmir still discusses and share their memorable moments attached with this game.
