Heart Of Fifteen

Representational Picture

Sitting alone in my room,

waiting for the blossoms of my life to bloom.

Hearing the tinkling of chimes,

thinking about those childhood rhymes.

When the world would seem like nothing,

Mom, Dad, and my family were everything.

Not caring about the examination,

there was no need to act with determination.

Thinking about a fairyland all the time,

being happy upon seeing that dripping lime.

I too was happy with everything fine,

looking up at the tall pine.

But now I am sad, depressed and bewildered,

the world seems full of problems I had never heard.

Thinking about my place in world, I get worried,

will I do nothing for it before I am buried?
