Government deferred summer vacations in Kashmir, Jammu winter zones

The School Education Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir on 29th June announced to deferred the summer vacation in Kashmir division and winter regions of Jammu till further orders. The order for postponement of the vacations was issued by secretary school education Kashmir Farooq Ahmad Shah.

“In view of the present climate conditions in the state, it is hereby ordered that the summer vacation already ordered  vide Government Order No. 742-Edu of 2018, dated 13-06-2018 for all Government Educational Institutions and also recognized Private Schools up to Higher Secondary level functioning in the Kashmir Division and winter zone areas of Jammu division w.e.f. 2nd of July, 2018 to 14th of July, 2018, are hereby deferred, till further orders,” the order reads.
