Egyptian Archeologists uncovered the remains of Greco-Roman temple

Archeologists in Egypt have discovered the remains of a temple dating back to the Greco-Roman period.

The temple unearthed in the Egypt’s western desert includes stone walls and the temple’s main entrance. Excavation process is still underway at the site near Siwa, oasis and the border with Libya.

Statues depicting a man and lions, pottery fragments and coins were also found dating back to between the 2nd century BC and the 3rd century AD.
