Class 12th Results: Pass Percentage Worst in 10 Years

The record of the J&K State Board of School Education reveals that the results of recently declared 12th class are worst in a decade.

As compared to last year, the pass percentage this year which is 51.77% has almost dropped by 10 per cent.

Year wise pass percentage since 2008:

2008: 53.50%

2009: 55%

2010: 55%

2011: 59%

2012: 59%

2013: 52%

2014: 55%

2015: 57%

2016: 75.47%

2017: 62.94%

2018: 51.77%

In 2016 the pass per percentage was highest because of relaxation in syllabus by the government, due to the valley-wide uprising that took place after the killing of Hizb commander Burhan Wani in July 2016.
