CBSE UGC NET July 2018 Results Declared

The Central Board of Secondary Education has declared the results of National Eligibility Test (NET) held on 11th July, 2018.

Out of 11, 48,235 candidates who had registered for the exam only 859, 498 appeared in the test. Among them 55,872 have qualified for Assistant Professor and 3,929 have qualified for JRF and Assistant Professor.

The exam was conducted by the board in 91 cities at 2,082 centers across India in 84 different subjects.

Earlier this year, UGC amended the examination pattern and instead of three papers, there were only two papers. Paper I (General Paper) had 50 objective type questions and Paper II had 100 objective question carrying 2 marks each.

From now onwards, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC NET twice in a year.

The online application process for the next NET examination that will be conducted in December will commence on September 1st.
