Asian Games 2018 concluded on Sunday with colourful and emotional closing ceremony.
Yet again China tops the medal table for the 10th consecutive time by winning 289 medals. Japan and South Korea stayed at second and third positions with 205 and 177 medals respectively.
Officially known as 18th Asian Games and also Jakarta Palembang 2018, the 2018 Asian Games started on 18th August and ended on 2nd September. Two cities of Indonesia, Jakarta and Palembang hosted the event.
The opening and closing ceremonies of the Games were held at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta.
Tokyo will host the next Summer Olympics in 2020, with Paris holding the 2024 Games and Los Angeles confirmed as hosts in 2028.
