Officially known as 18th Asian Games and also Jakarta Palembang 2018, the 2018 Asian Games will start from today and ends on 2nd September. Two cities of Indonesia, Jakarta and Palembang will host the event and it is the second time for Jakarta to host the sports games after 1962.
As per Indian Standard Time (IST), the opening ceremony of the event of 2018 Asian Games is schedule to start at 5: 30 pm in Jakarta in which two Indonesian singers such as Anggun and Raisa will perform.
To host 2018 Asian Games, the Indonesian government has invested 770 billion Indonesian rupiah (about 52 million U.S. dollars) for renovation.
All 45 members of the Olympic Council of Asia are scheduled to participate in different games.
