As per the Asia University Rankings, 2018, National University of Singapore sealed the top position followed by Tsinghua University of China and the Peking University of China.
There were 350 Universities in the list. University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong University of Science & Technology secured 4th and 5th positions respectively.
According to the Times Higher Education, Asia University Ranking, the Universities were judged by taking into consideration their teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
In calculating the top universities in Asia they followed the pattern of the World University Ranking.
