Alongside Kashmiri artists and singers who performed in the festival held at Lok Versa, Islamabad, Pakistan, all television and radio channels broadcasted programmers regarding Kashmiri culture, traditions and politics.

Meanwhile, an international conference was held at the British Parliament on the Kashmir Solidarity Day, where a resolution over the plight of Kashmiri people was adopted.  The resolution addressed the United Nations and the international community to take necessary and immediate measures regarding human rights violations in Kashmir.
