
South Africa defeated the host team Sri Lanka by four wickets in the second ODI on Wednesday after an aggressive batting of 87 runs by the left hand opener Quinton de Kock.
Sri Lanka set the total of 244 for eight wickets. Chasing the total, South Africa reached the target with 43 balls to spare. The two openers De Kock and Hashim Amla stand 91 runs opening partnership before Amla was caught and bowled in the 14th over by Akila Dananjaya.

The match was played at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Sri Lanka and South Africa leads the ongoing series with 2-0. De Kock was declared man of the match.
